Dear Parents,

During the weeks of May 4 and May 11, students in grades 3–8 across California, including those in the Moreland School District, will participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). We’ve designed the schedule to consolidate testing as much as possible and minimize disruption to family schedules.

If you have a conflict with the testing schedule, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can work with you to arrange an alternate time.

​

A few additional reminders:

• All HSP students will test on the same days and times.
• Students in grades 5 and 8 will also complete the California Science Test on Friday, May 15.
• Enrichment classes will be paused during the two-week testing period.

Individual student scores are confidential and are typically available by mid-summer through the Aeries Parent Portal. The state collects only aggregate data by grade level and subject, and individual results remain private.

The April Class and Conference Schedule is now available. Please feel free to sign up for a conference time that works best for your family.

​

Finally, please note that the Moreland School District will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17. We hope you enjoy a relaxing and special week with your family.
